Way back in 1985 I made a spoof documentary (with drama school students) about the then new gated communities in Havelock North. We called it Heavensgate after the recent mass suicides of the American Applewhite cult. In the film God changed his mind and sent them to Kingsgate (instead of Heavensgate). I visited Kingsgate the other day and it hasn't changed.
